Membership & Support

The 2007-2008 Outpost Season is funded in part by grants from the Albuquerque Community Foundation; the City of Albuquerque Cultural Services Department & Mayor Martin Chávez; the Hanock Family Foundation; LEF Foundation; the Mid-Size Presenting Organizations Initiative implemented by the Nonprofit Finance Fund and funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation; the McCune Charitable Foundation; the National Endowment for the Arts; New Mexico Arts, a division of the Office of Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts; the New Mexico Tourism Department; and the Urban Enhancement Trust Fund of the City of Albuquerque, with additional support from Outpost Memberships, private donations and corporate sponsorships.

Outpost Productions is a member-supported organization, also funded by grants (government & foundation), by donations, by corporate sponsorships, by advertising, as well as by ticket sales. IT'S A TEAM EFFORT!

If you are interested in supporting the programs of Outpost Productions and/or associating your company's image with our organization, you can do so in any number of ways.

Membership

In January of 2008, for the first time in ten years, Outpost revised its membership categories, prices and benefits (go to Online Support Form link, below). As of 2008, Outpost has more than 600 Individual Members who pay anywhere from $25 to $575 and in return receive benefits ranging from a $5 discount at every Outpost show to a Pass for 2 to every show at The Space for a year.

Donations

In addition to Membership in Outpost Productions, we encourage everybody to think about an additional tax deductible donation to the organization. You may make such a donation to a GENERAL FUND which helps to support all of our activities and operating expenses. Or, if you so desire, you may make a donation specifically to our EDUCATIONAL FUND which supports all of our terrific educational programs (Weekend Workshops, Variety Shows, Afterschool Programs and Classes, School Field Trips to performances at The Space, and so on). Another place to make a donation is to our INSTRUMENT PURCHASE FUND which has allowed us to purchase everything from a Steinway Grand Piano to bass amps and conga drums for use by our youth classes as well as our world famous visiting artists and points in between.

Sponsorship

Outpost Productions has a flexible Sponsorship program which ranges from a cost of $500-$10,000 yearly. Sponsorship benefits include passes, ads, logo placement, banners and so on. At this time we are particularly interested in finding Individual Concert Sponsors (we'd like to see a sponsor's logo next to every concert-- it's affordable, it's good exposure for your business, and for us, it can make a huge difference!); as well as sponsors for a Concert Series such as the Summer Monday Jazz Nights; or Indian Music; or the Songwriter Showcase-Open Mic Series; or an Inpost Artspace sponsor. Call us and we will find a program to suit your needs.

Advertising

Outpost Productions has two highly visible and respected advertising vehicles. The first is the "Outpost Newsletter"— 13,000 copies of which are published and distributed twice yearly. The second is the "Outpost Concert Program" which is handed out to audiences at over 120 outstanding Outpost events per year. Advertising rates start at only $125.
