Linda Holland’s abstract sculptures evoke movement, mass, and volume. Surfaces of common manufactured materials are subtly layered and finished to coax inherent organic qualities to perception. Metal streetfinds contribute tension and texture accumulated through use and discard. The resulting sculptural forms play improv on the edge of balance to celebrate light and shadow.
