Who paints the walls? Who framed this photograph? Who hung this painting here and focused the lights on it? Curators, designers, registrars, administrative assistants, art handlers and preparators. Very often, the professionals working behind the scenes in our galleries, art spaces and museums are serious and accomplished artists themselves. I Also Make Art takes a moment to turn the proverbial camera around; exhibiting works by the arts professionals who have expended such energy to showcase the work of others, thereby, making Albuquerque’s vibrant art community a reality.
