Inside Out + Jan McDonald w. The Bert Dalton Trio

inside out

Inside Out is a jazz trio that features pianist Art Edwards; bassist John Griffin; and drummer Wayne Johnson, who initially conceived the group in 2005. Johnson has played in a variety of contexts from straight-ahead jazz with the John Lewis Quartet and Tony Rodriguez, to Latin jazz with Louie Guzman. Joining the trio for this concert will be trumpeter and fluglehornist, Bill Clark, who recently relocated to New Mexico from Vancouver, BC. Clark has recorded with his own sextet in Canada, as well as with Vancouver Ensemble for Jazz Improvization (VEJI), and with the avant-garde ensemble Talking Pictures. He also works with the ubiquitous Albuquerque tuba player, Mark Weaver.
